Here you can find full specs of how we have prepared for our trip.

Bike

We ride on a german Drössiger HT bike. It is a medium class MTB. Deore components, crappy front suspension. There is not much to say about it… it is a bike. We have two big Vaude bags on the back and a small bag on the handlebar. Daniel will only carry a small CamelBak on his back. I’ll travel in the front bag.

Baggage

Here is the list of things we’ll take from Girona. New things may be added/replaced along the trip, but we hope it will remain rather constant (due to weight issues).

It seems like a lot of weight to me… but Daniel says we have to be prepared. I find it funny that he is taking luxury stuff (MP3, towel, etc.) but no cooking equipment. But then again, I’d rather eat the soap than have him cook!
